Pre Collision System Settings

I was looking at PCS settings and found that the distance setting was midway 2, so I change it to high 3. When I restarted the engine the system defaulted to setting 2

Not to be confused with the distant setting in Active Cruise Control.

Has anyone else had this problem, I would rather the PCS worked sooner than later

Did you save the revised setting to the driver profile?

Choose the "edit" option from the driver profile (activated by your key or phone), make the setting changes you want and then go back to the profile and hit "save".

I do not have keys or set it by phone 

I set it by going in to the setting on the steering wheel go to PCS and hold the centre OK button to change the sensitivity , I cannot find any save setting

So you don't have a driver profile? Do you drive it as "guest"?

Are you refering to Toyota? There is no driver profile

I think @RabButler is referring to the profile on the media unit, but if per your profile you have the 2020 car, that's not on there. It's a feature of the newer connected media systems on 2023 onwards.

From memory, on my 2021 corolla, once I've changed any of the settings you mentioned they stay there.
