EV Charge level in app about 10% more than in car

I have a new Prius Plug-in Hybrid. The My Toyota app works fine (but slowly) but the level of EV Charge shown in the app is about 10% higher than shown in the car.  Except when fully charged when both show 100%. Anyone else seen this?

I think I can answer my own question now.

The other day I took a long drive on pure electric (EV mode) and when I got home the charge showing in the car was 6% but on the app it was showing about 40%.

I read somewhere that with the plug-in hybrid, when the charge level gets down to about 30% the car will automatically switch to hybrid mode, yet I was driving in EV mode down to 6%.

So my theory is that the app shows the actual charge remaining in the Battery, whilst the in-car reading shows the charge remaining available for EV mode.
