Hybrid assistant on Toyota Yaris Cross

Does anyone know if the hybrid Assistant works on the Toyota Yaris Cross? Thanks.

If you are asking about the phone app It will most likely  work on any hybrid.

Its an app you can use in conjunction with an ODBC reader and use to analyse various functions.

This is the standard feature on newer cars which predicts best way to assist the driver. Not the same thing but useful once you are accustomed to it.

As said by @trashman1965 it's an app only on play store that gives you interesting infos when you're driving (link). If you ever plan to use it on your Toyota let me know how it goes!

I'm not so sure because some users on other forums complain that the app doesn't work on more recent Toyotas.

I use it all the time and there is a fix for that which I used when I got my new Premiere Edition...

If there is anything else you need to know about HA, give me a shout...

Yes, first of all thank you for your availability and your answer. I would like to know if Hybrid assistant is also compatible with the Yaris Cross, considering that maybe the Yaris and the Yaris Cross have different PIDS/formulas to compute the values displayed in the app.

As far as I am aware, they don't. Try it and see?

Ok being thick here, what does this do that the MyToyota app journey summary doesn’t?

I don’t  pick my YCP until Wednesday so being reading up so might be wrong and I am keen to learn!

yep just seems like one of those things that someone is convinced they need when really they don't. Just drive steady, plan ahead to avoid harsh braking and don't floor it constantly. will do the same as this app but I could be wrong 🤪

WAY more information than the MyToyota app. It is for a totally different use than the MyToyota app. Designed to be used as an auxiliary "dashboard" in real time, if you like...

This is just one example screen... (hard acceleration...)

Also, check this thread out here to give you some more idea about how useful it can be...

Does that mean it appears through Android Auto on the car display or is it only on the phone screen?

Wow, nice screenshot! If tried to search into the change log of the updates to the hybrid assistant app and i've found that the yaris cross is supported since Version 3.312.0. I'm attaching the image hereunder.

If someone is using the app with the yaris cross let me know how it works!

Unfortunately, it won't display on the car's display since Android Auto sees it as "incompatible"...

However, since I also use my main screen a lot, this is how I use them both...

I forgot to mention that HA is Android only. (i.e. not Apple compatible)
