Hello from a not-quite-yet even a Toyota owner

Hi,

I am a not-quite-yet a Toyota owner, but my RAV4 PHEV is due to be collected at the end of this (September) month.

I have never owned a Toyota before because I have previously been a fairly committed Honda owner (2 Honda cars and 4 Honda motorcycles, all utterly reliable). But I have just had a very bad experience with a Honda CRV PHEV that failed in the first 19 days of ownership, from new, and it then broke down again just 14 days later and I have never been able to drive it since (and that episode started 6 months ago).

I am almost a complete novice when it comes to any sort of electric vehicle plugin / hybrid or otherwise and obviously a novice when it comes to Toyotas

So please expect a few questions 😉
