Toyota Smart Connect

Hi all I picked up my Toyota cross excel 2022 last week, trying to get my head around the smart connect system, for the navigation and radio.

1.How do you turn off the radio I must be missing something as I can not find on / off control.

2. Cannot set home 🏡 on navigation screen, or change the screen color.

Hoping some one can help me with this it's driving me nuts, and the manuel is next to useless.

Can’t help with 2 but with 1 you can’t turn the radio off, all you can do is mute it or switch to a different input.

Thanks Ralph I thought that might be the case, seems a bit silly to me, as could be a distraction when you want to concentrate on road and not fiddle around with the media.

If I remember correctly, and I think there was a thread a year or two ago on Smart Connect, you can tap the time on the upper right hand side of screen and it will only show the time and hide everything else.

Quite correct.  Also, if I remember correctly, you can hold the top LH button until the screen turns off.  It does reset to ON at next restart.
