North American Equivalent Front Rotors, 2009 Estima E four X

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I am in the process of importing a 2009 Estima Hybrid E four X to Canada.

It is currently in the shop being prepared for registration and has been discovered that it requires new front brake rotors to pass safety.

does anyone know how I can find a North American equivalent, available front rotor set for this vehicle?

eg.  "same as a 2010 Camry"   kind of thing.

thankyou!

Have a search through the parts catalogue:

yes I have.

the part numbers in amayama do not have any parallel to a north american version.  and to order them from japan through amayama, including shipping is over 5X the cost of a locally available set of rotors.

Canadian Toyota dealerships can not make a direct comparison, all they have is part numbers,  not dimensional specifications.

I need hands on, someone who has measured the different rotors and found a matching counterpart.  or an online resource that can do the same..

Toyota Owner's Club is UK based, with the majority of members within the UK or Europe. The likelihood of members knowing an equivalent third party part from a North American company is fairly remote.

OEM number is 43512-28190

A quick Bing  ==

  • Diameter [mm]: 296
  • Brake Disc Thickness [mm]: 28
  • Centering Diameter [mm]: 62
  • Rim Hole Number: 5
  • Bolt Hole Circle Ø [mm]: 114 .3
  • Thickness [mm]: 49
  • Minimum thickness [mm]: 25

edit. had a dig through Brakebook in the US and came up with Textar 92185403

possibly 2.4 Highlander 00 to 2007, OEM 43512-48030

Thankyou Flash22!

I'll dig into that right away and compare to what is on the van currently!

on further inspection and removing the brakes for visual comparison,

It turns out that the suspension has been upgraded to a TRD version, and the brakes also appear to be upgraded.

so we are now having to visually compare what has been removed from the van to other off the shelf parts..

this just got a lot more tedious,  and a lot less easy.  but hopefully this means that there is a clear locally available counterpart.

thankyou for your helps and reading this post.

If they are standard size you can get uprated aftermarket ones slotted and/or cross-drilled, if they are the bigger 319mm brakes look at the Highlander 00-10 with the 3.0, 3.3 or hybrid
