Engine coil

My 2016 1.2 turbo was missing  firing about 8 months ago fault was diagnosed coil 4 which I changed. No problems until today same problem. Has anyone had this issue.

Hi Amish,It sounds like a recurring issue. Since you replaced coil 4 and the problem has come back, I would check the spark plugs,they might be worn out. Look for any damage or loose connections.Other coils might also be going bad. A weak Battery or poor grounding can cause misfires as well. If the same cylinder (coil 4) is misfiring, it could be an issue specific to that cylinder. Run a scan it may help pinpoint the problem.👍

Swap the coils 4 with 3 for example. If the fault code moves to coil 3 then it’s from the coil itself. Replace again and put a new set of spark plugs. 
If the fault remains in cylinder 4 then it’s from something else. Coolant, oil or fuel leak are most common issues that can cause misfire.

Coil pack is expensive and always use original Denso coil. Buy Denso sparkplugs from reputable seller, careful with online shop and can destroy engines with fake Denso sparkplugs.
