I had a similar problem with my Dashcam wired via a piggyback fuse.  After a conversation with Nextbase, I realised where I had gone wrong - the fuses were in the wrong slots. i.e. I had put one fuse in one slot and the other fuse in the other slot - as you do. Apparently, the piggyback fuse holder will only allow power through both fuses if they are inserted correctly in the correct fuse way. Yes, I know it sounds daft, but once I swapped them round, both the Dashcam and accessory socket worked correctly. This was using a Nextbase piggyback fuse holder. And as has been pointed out, the earth must be a good connection.

Hi , so at this point I am confused I've tried to test the fuse box with a multimeter trying to find the right one and it looks like they are all dead when the car is off, is that possible or I am doing something wrong?
