R4 PHEV owners esp. GRS... Which App should I be using?

I never knew this but there are two Apps. 

My Toyota (the one I'm using and has remote lock, unlock, hazards, status of windows and doors etc. but which doesn't let you upload a destination and route to the car).

MyT which is what I think I might have been using on the previous car.

My T was discontinued and replaced by My Toyota some months back ...

So, yes, we were using My T previously.

Wonder why is it available on play store if it has been discontinued? Confusing?

But phew, I'm using the right App. 

Looking for reasons why I'm having problems with my profile frequently disappearing from the car.

That does seem odd but ... If I run the My T app it simply says: "Please note that your current version is no longer supported. Download the latest version". So, it's available to tell you that it isn't! 🙂

I thought the “MyT” App was no longer updated. Perhaps the “MyT” app is prompting you to download “MyToyota”?

I see what you're saying. Keep the MyT App on the Google Play Store as a redirect to my Toyota.

But you can see both on Apple app store. I use My Toyota app.

MyT is still in use for older cars like mine, My Toyota does not support it but redirects you towards MyT.

And by amazing coincidence, I received an update to the My T app just now! Once updated it was perfectly happy for me to attempt to register my car ... I didn't!   😕

My Toyota is still working happily!
