I recently purchased an imported Toyota Prius (2020 plate) from a dealer and noticed that the odometer isn't adding mileage to the total. When I check Trip A or Trip B, I see that the mileage is being added, but it's not reflecting in the total mileage. The dealer has mentioned that the car may need a software update. Can anyone explain what might be happening?

Might be, but I reckon there's some sort of hack plugged in to stop the odo counting up - They are easily available despite having no legal application... :fear: 

Did they sell it to you with the same mileage quoted? If so I'd get some money off as it's likely done a lot more mileage than quoted!

CAN blockers can be used to stop mileage - would need the instrument cluster removing to check.
