Just picked up my new Aygo X after 12years with our old Aygo Ice. Massive difference of course. The over speed buzzer already driving me mad. When it beeps at 30 when true speed is 28 !

I'm picking up my new Corolla GR Sport Tourer in November, so it will have Excess speed notification. I'm assured that it can be switched off. It's apparently on the multi-information display in 'Settings' (cog wheel icon) -> 'RSA (Road Sign Assist)' -> 'Excess speed notification method'.

Yup. Me to the dealership Service Manager when he asked how I was getting on with my new car: "You've heard of the Chinese Water Torture? Well, this is the Toyota Beep Torture!"
