JBL stereo and Excel touring

I think some people were asking or confused about the JBL stereo.  I ordered my Excel 2.0 in May and have just picked it up today on the 17th of September.  It seems on the website and brochure they no longer say anything about JBL.

But I can confirm on my car at least, it has the JBL upgrade on it.  The only way you can tell is the JBL branding on the tweeter covers.

Yes they are on the A pillar.

Is the sound good with the JBL system? As in, better than a standard car stereo? I've a Corolla TS excel on order and was hoping it was decent as love my music!

It's definitely a step up. I delayed changing my MY21 EXCEL until it was available again. It's no audiophiles dream,but it is better than standard. I actually listen to music way more than my previous two auris.

Seems good so far but I had JBL on my old car as well so no idea about the standard system.

I've the JBL system on my RAV4 excel and happy with the sound quality, etc 

Certainly not quite as good as previous land rover systems, but perfectly acceptable 👍
