ok just tested it now, and no option to set temp in the app  , Rav  starts and climate runs on temp that was set when last driving.

 

As @philip42hmentions this could be because you have a HEV Vs PHEV. Apologies, I assumed we were talking about the GRS PHEV.

It sounds like it will be a case of leaving Aircon on at the right temperature before switching off. Then you'll get the right temperature when you remote activate climate. Why they've done this who knows.

Shouldn't be a big deal since in winter I need to switch things on like heated seats so they come on when remote climate is activated as you can't activate them via the App.

yeah just a case of remembering to set the climate before switching off.

The thing I dislike about Toyota is the software and weird inconsistences of functions and capabilities between vehicle types and countries.

yeah the US Rav4 has lots more options / vehicle features  to configure  on the multimedia screen.

Waiting for mine to arrive early October, same decuma grey bi-tone (was originally going to go for the white bi-tone but had a change of heart). I'm dreading the stock Speakers. Only found out that the vehicle did not come with JBL after I had placed the order!

Don't worry about the sound system, it's as good as the JBL system, but you've got to fettle with the settings. First impression with the default settings was WTF, is this a 1985 vauxhall nova? Terrible sound all coming from the dash Speakers. But you can set the audio by source. Push the sound back with the fader, increase bass and treble. It's as good as the JBL. I know because I had a bi tone Dacuma Grey PHEV for 3 years and now I have the GRS PHEV bitone, pearl white and black. Both are great colours.

Noting the JBL wasn't great btw. But it's as good as that.
