2006 Hiace 2kd 4wd

My hiace was always a little slow off the line i thought nothing off it, then it got really bad and slips bad in D but after first and second gear it shifts fine.

if i start it off in L it starts off great then i put it back in D after first gear and its golden.

now it did have an issue with transmission fluid mixing with coolant this definitely caused some damage but i feel like it would slip in L if the clutches were gone. Seems like an electronic problem?

please any help would be great!!!

With a bit more research looks like it’s the sprang…

The sprang is bypassed when shifting manually so it’s the only thing that makes sense.

Time for a rebuild on the A340f suppose to be a bullet proof trans especially at 140k kilometres and good servicing.

nothing to do with the transmisison/coolant mix since i was having issues before.

I can make a post if anyone down the road has a similar issue with how the rebuild went. Just reply i should get a notification.
