MyT doesn’t recognise my reg number

I have bout a 23 plate RAV 4 and have been told to use the new app but I can’t link my multimedia to it as it saying there is a problem . Can anyone help please ?

Which multimedia system is it?

There are also two Apps. MyT and My Toyota.

Can you try a different way, like the VIN number?

Have you created a MyT account on the Toyota website?
