Assuming I'm willing to accept that it'll probably cost more, is it possible to get my Corolla serviced at a Lexus dealer while maintaining the 10 year warranty?

The location of the nearest Lexus dealer is far more convenient for me than the Toyota dealer so I don't mind if I have to pay a little more.

Unlikely. But it won't hurt to ask them.

Hi John,The term "Authorised Toyota Repairer" in the Relax Warranty documentation would seem to open up the possibility for Lexus dealerships to be eligible since they are authorised to service Toyota vehicles.Toyota UK’s Relax Warranty is heavily promoted and structured around servicing at Toyota dealerships. This is why it’s often recommended to use a Toyota dealership to avoid any confusion or potential refusal of warranty claims in the future.

It's worth a call to clarify and contact Toyota UK or the specific Lexus dealership to confirm if Lexus dealers are officially considered "Authorised Toyota Repairers" under the Relax Warranty terms.

It would be interesting to know what they say👍

I remember reading a post on the Lexus forum, that they were 'miffed' that their Lexus was serviced in a Toyota workshop!

There are a few dealers where the Toyota dealership is next to the Lexus one… look around the back at my local one and there is one workshop for the two dealerships.

I also had fun trying to change insurance from Lexus insurance to Toyota insurance - it’s the same company, went through loads of questions when all they had to do was look on a different system.

I don't see any problem. My Toyota dealer services Lexus as well

Steven Eagell will most likely do it as they retail both brands although at dedicated dealerships.
However when a warranty checks and repairs eventually happen in the future whoever does it may make an excuse that the car was serviced at Lexus if you make a claim with Toyota and not with them so warranty is void.
Save yourself a saga and do service your car at dedicated Toyota garage, if not a good one available nearby book another place.

My local Toyota dealership is also a Lexus service centre.  They can't sell you a Lexus but the can service one.  Toyota and Lexus cars are serviced in the same workshop by the same mechanics.  A Lexus LXB shares all its serviceable parts with the Yaris Cross yet they will charge you an extra £150 to service the Lexus.
