Lubrication of rear brakes

In our Nordic climate, there is a risk that the brakes may start to seize and thus need to be disassembled and lubricated. We at Toyota recommend performing this operation in connection with a full service to prevent the brake pads from wearing out prematurely and causing additional workshop visits.

 

Since I am booking a service elsewhere, do you think this is worth adding?  Is it a standard thing to give the rear brakes a "lubrication service"?
