Hi - I had this replaced on my 2009 Verso in November last year. It cost £380 by my local (non Toyota) garage. The part they used was a genuine Toyota part which cost about £300 I think. No doubt Toyota would charge a lot more for fitting it.

Are your garage saying it will fail the MOT because of it? I only had mine replaced because it had rusted through and fell off - while I was driving! My garage said it might not even fail the MOT with it being rusty (or even with it missing) as it isn't structural. I decided to get it replaced anyway.

Hi thanks for the reply the mechanic said he didn't think it would pass the MOT with the condition of the swaybar it's going for a service and MOT on Wednesday so shall see what they say in our local garage
