Hello I just bought an old toyota rav4 of 2007 177hp d-cat 230k km. which did not runned for a couple of years and have periodically these errors flashing. I reseted them by unplugging fuses in the fuse box. Brought the car to a toyota dealer for a maintenance.

He did not saw the errors. At first. The car was jerking at low rpm. I drived at 2.5-3k rpm with some v-power diesel fuel and it stopped jerking.

The toyota dealer mechanic tooked the car but did not started a revision as he said i needed to decarbonize the injectors before. I am still waiting for them to receive the parts they need to decarbonize and clean the injectors. However i still have these errors poppin after a reset if i drive around 100km. I read it can be a dirty egr valve.

My question is is it dangerous to reset the fuse to clean the errors till they can check my car or shall i leave them and not use the car so much until an appointment?

I would wait if i were you if you do not know exactly what the codes are. Take care and hope it is nothing major.

Could be the injectors are nackered.

It is only on rpm between 1800 2000. It is at the toyota right now. Will keep you informed. But they did not mentionned injectors at the initial check
