Just a heads up, wife’s new iPhone 16 would not connect to our 2020 car via the genuine Apple cable. Did a bit of Googling and apparently the cables below can fix the issue. Fortunately and luckily I had recently bought the below from Amazon…plugged in and Car Play immediately connected.

That's good to know.

I went through a lot of cables to get AA connected and reliable.

My new iPhone 15 worked on both cables but I guess the 16 has a lot more newer tech inside it. Read quite a few posts across various vehicles having similar problems.
