Im looking to purchase a spare tyre and the kit for my Aygo X-Play TSS VVT-I 2017. To be honest I know nothing about cars and looking online its a bit confusing as Ive seen 15, 16 and 17 inch tyres recommended. Please could anyone suggest a kit which would be suitable for my car model which doesnt cost the earth?

Your Aygo will have 15 inch wheels - see an example of a space saver space wheel kit:
