The default Badge for all of Toyota's Hybrids on the rear is now "HEV" (with any trim variants like "GR" separately applied)

They honestly don't have a clue.  I mean all car manufacturers, not just Toyota.  It's ABSOLUTELY no wonder why the guys in the Parts Dept don't have a clue, not to even mention the sales guys !!

Thank you the replies. Regardless which one we get, can anyone enlighten me as to the differences of the multimedia screen? Most I've seen look like this:

 

Whereas the YC we've been looking at has this:

Is this one missing functionality and features?

The bottom one is newer 9" Toyota Touch or Smart Connect. The top one is smaller screen but with extra options lacking in the newer multimedia system

This is the display on my MY24 Yaris Cross Design. There is a cloud based satnav integrated and other tech. No buttons, all touch screen operation. Another difference is the MY23 had blue ambient lighting in the cab, but the tight wads at Toyota deleted it from the MY24 cars 😡

PS ignore the little dash cam - non standard addition😉

24 MY still has ambient lighting but it's now white & only fitted on Excel, GR Sport & Premier editions.

Originally the missus was looking at ordering a new Design with optional safety pack but compared to an Excel over 3 years all the extra standard equipment for slightly more per month convinced her to get the Excel instead.

That shows the easy way of identifying the new model if you can’t see the Badge at the back.   The air vent has been brought forward to flush with the screen.   Early ones are recessed in.

The odd part is the indented air vents on the my24 Icon I was showing.
