Changing Speedometer from KM to Miles

Does anyone know how to change the speedometer from kilometers to miles? We have a spanish registered car but drive over to the UK frequently and would like to make this change to make life easier!

If the Spanish spec'd Corollas are for the Spanish market, like the Irish ones are for Ireland (KM's), I don't think it's possible.

I believe UK spec'd Corollas have the option to change (KM to miles and vice versa).

You can go through the settings menu and look for a Units section, which is where you can change from mpg, L/100km etc., but to my knowledge the UK models are the only ones in the whole eurozone which support metric AND imperial.

There's no technical reason for this, so until enough people outside the UK complain to their local Toyota office it'll probably stay like that.

It's really daft with everything being a digital display now, and there's no reason for it as it just means they have to maintain 2 different branches of code!
