Absolute load of pants and does jack **** and why i hear you say well thats because. The ecu electronically controls the injectors, as in when to open, how long to open for and how much fuel to deliver so it doesn't actually do much with the fuel. And even if you think that because it will increase pressure it should let more fuel through it doesn't. Fuel pressure doesn't become an issue unless your running close to the limits of the injectors, and then the standard fuel pressure regulators are adjustable

at least some honest comments,,

can we get some more opinions before it turns into a "discussion" on regulators

as far as iv read its not worth it unless u have done some big mods but if your standard pressure regulator is away then your as well buying the boost valve as i think its about the same if not cheaper than buy from Toyota.

Think of it this way if you add more fuel without adding more air then its just a waste of petrol.

If ur mota has a cat fitted u will get far more power if u add a de cat pipe than adding a over hyped up fuel regulator they both cost around the same ..

Waste of space, and £100. Unless you are running a tubo lump that needs it (most peeps just uprate the pump).

Your car already controls fuel pressure and injector duty and pulse width so it doesn't really do much. Sustained increases in pressure will cost you money in wasted fuel and may casue damage to the injectors causing them to 'dribble'.

They offer slightly better throttle response, but no extra power. If you do get power from them chances are your OE part was fubar'd to begin with. They are also sometimes used to eliminate flat spots caused by fitting induction kits, an overkill fix on something caused by bad tuning practice to start with!

Oh it is a regulator and so you have asked opinions on regulators, the FSE power boost valve is a rising rate fuel pressure regulator. When you install it you chuck the old one and place the FSE one in its place.

I say avoid and look to spend your hard earned cash on something useful for your car.
