Front Washer Issue

Good day.  Failed MOT due to front screen washer not working , fuse is OK and new pump in position. Cant hear the pump for the front going, however I can hear the other for the rear screen. Any suggestions on my next action would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Got a similar problem'ish the front washer jet isn't a spray but more a gush of water and only reaches the bottom third of the wiper blade

Washer jets on my Auris can be a regular problem. I've had the gush of water barely making it up the screen. Water squirting out to the side, water over the roof, you name it can do it. Instant easy fix...

If your washer nozzle is the molded plastic type with what seems to be just a hole or slit where the water emerges then try one of those little dental brushes. If you haven't any of these then a child's tiny paint brush. Anything with bristles that will go into the jet. Give it a good spin and twirl. Use kitchen cleaner spray on the bristles as well.

I have to regularly do this every few months to keep them good. I assume its limescale buildup inside.
