Multimedia System Recall for 2024 C-HR - ZGG61

After getting a ‘Refer to Dealer’ pop up when I checked the map version in my C-HR recently, I found that it was subject to a recall using the online Recall Checker.

The car was booked in for this Tuesday and the recall amounted to a full reprogramming of the Multimedia System.

Unfortunately this is data heavy (equivalent of 12 USB sticks or thereabouts) and is a full day job. Toyota are in the process of migrating the update in their systems where it can be more efficiently downloaded by dealers.

Needless to say but the update wasn’t carried out and we are both waiting for information from Toyota 🤷‍♂️
