2000 CDX Auto: mystery of fuse no 6 function

My windscreen washers, both front and rear have ceased to work - no sound from either pump motor.

In checking the fuse layout, I see that fuse no 6 in the drivers (RH) side fusebox, is the one to check.

However the descriptor states Fuse 6 : Front wipers and washers; Rear wipers and washers; Door lock control.

With exception of the washers, all other items are working normally. I have checked no blockage in the plastic tubing and no sediment in tank.

The lack of sound from the motor pumps indicates an electrical fault - but the fuse is good.

Any thoughts from this mix of owners and experts would be most welcome, as 'no washers' is a MOT fail. Yikes!

Many washers only have one pump - it's driven one way for front and the other for rear. So it may 'just' be the motor has died.
