Answering Telephone

I am sure I have read about this on here somewhere but for the life of me cannot find it now. Anyway, my mobile phone is paired to my car a 2021 Yaris Cross Icon but when anyone telephones me only my phone rings and nothing on the "radio" and certainly after being answered by my passenger no hands free. It must be enabled somewhere but I cannot find it, only had the car a year 🤣

Guessing the phone's bluetooth are turn on or it's being connected via AA/ACP usb slot? Blue bluetooth icon appears on the media screen?

Are you saying that the phone needs to be connected via cable to the USB slot? No wireless connection?

Doesn't need to, thought it auto turns the phone's bluetooth on and connect to the car if the bluetooth was not turned on. 

If you get in the car and don't turn the phone's bluetooth on and not connected to anything, it's not going to make the connection to the car's Bluetooth. If not this then there is something wrong.

Strange, just been out to the car, telephoned home via the screen on the car and hands free works fine but incoming calls do not. Wonder if it's my iPhone, need to test it. Thanks for the reply.
