High Gear Acceleration

I stilll have a 119 or whatever limit on my car and don't generally tend to do really high speeds but was wondering how the power continues?

They nip from 70 to 100 so quickly, how does this carry on - what speed are you going at 6000rpm in 4th? How do they pull from say 120mph up and when does the acceleration begin to slow?

on mine is slowly fizzes out .. still hits redline with a bit of a thud though ..
