Toyota Corolla Cross Android Multimedia unit

I have imported in Europe a Corolla Cross 2023 model from Japan.

As expected the android Multimedia Radio Navigation unit does not fully function and the radio due to the different Frequency range I suppose.

Can anyone suggest how to fix it or even where to find a second hand unit with European specifications to replace it?

A good audio mech should be able to change the frequency chip for you, but you may have to remove the head unit yourself.

Or you can try a band expander.

Or if the Jap head unit supports Android Auto or Apple Car Play, plug in your phone and use that as a link.

I've never had a Jap import car, so never had this issue.
