Private purchase - how does the 10 year warranty work?

Hello. Long story short; was looking to buy a YC from Steven Eagell. One of the reasons we were attracted to them as an "approved seller" was their talk about the 10 year warranty. Any way they've been messing us around, and now can't find the V5C for the vehicle (a car seller that can't sell a call it seems), so I'm pulling the plug and looking elsewhere.

Am I right that even if you buy privately, all of Toyota's additional warranty stuff just transfers with the vehicle? If we were to buy a YC off someone which was a few years old, and has always been serviced at a dealer, then it would still be applicable for the extended warranty stuff. Is that correct?
