2022 Corolla LE slight knock/Click

Hey guys, I have a 2022 Corolla LE. Has 34k miles on it now. Am I just worrying for nothing but has anyone noticed like a slight knock whenever you let off the gas and then get back on the gas? Like going around 10-20mph. I notice it in stop and go traffic, like I’ll let off the gas pedal and coast maybe like 2-3 seconds then get back on pedal and it makes a slight little knock? Anyone else’s do this? lol
 

I had the dealer check on it and they stated they found the noise coming from the axles? They drove another brand new Corolla and it made the same exact noise. I’m assuming that with being in the low gear it’s a little more torquey and it just makes the axle slightly make noise? So far I trust this dealer because they actually took time to put mechanic ears on the car and show me another car that makes same noise. I’m probably just paranoid.

now correct me if I’m wrong but I have the 1.8l engine so that’s just the normal CVT transmission right? I don’t have the launch gear?

Replies may be limited as this forum is UK based and only the hybrid corolla is sold here.

I can't suggest anything other than ask if you can drive the car they did to satisfy your concerns? Was it ok until recently? Not clear if you've owned since new or just purchased it.

Oh I didn’t realize it was for hybrids. I did drive it and heard same noise. And i bought it used with 29k miles. So I am not to sure to be honest if it did before or not.

Think it's normal to have a little transmission snatch as it takes up all the slack in the system
