Chr orange light

 I have an orange light which is a P with diagonal line through it and auto written underneath. 

Does anyone know what it means. Have tried internet with no luck.

The P with diagonal line doesn't appear in the manual or on toyota's website

Is the 'P' standalone or in a circle? Having had a quick look on t'internet, the 'P' in a circle is referring to the parking brake.

The light means you have disabled the auto parking brake, this is done by pressing the parking brake button for too long, to turn it back on press and hold the parking brake button until a message is displayed on the dash, if this doesn't happen pull and hold the parking switch again until a message is displayed ( can never remember which way around topwork the switch)

When using the parking brake you only need press and release or pull and release to operate it
