Start stop not working

Hi, aygo x has been I. For first service and since then I stead of stop start indicator when using the brake pedal it wants to turn climate control on.

Any ideas how to change it back?

It’s cold and this could be a reason why stop start it’s not working. 
This system saves very little and it’s not worth having it or keeping it working.

Not just for economy, but also for emissions

Yeah mine goes off and on as per climate control and other things permit.

Emissions from engine granted, but earlier 12v Battery replacement and possibly starter motor, perhaps the emissions even out.

Depends how long one keeps the car. 

I've had two Auris with stop/start for 4 years each and, although only a relatively short time for each, no issues with either.
