2.0d fault code p0093

Hi everyone.

I am new here. Hoping to get some info regarding my Avensis 2.0 d from 2010 with 320000 km The car starts great and runs great up to app 2500 rpm. Exceeding this the error code p0093 "major leak fuel system" appears ( together with parking break and vsc error.) And is entering limp home mode.

The car has been at a toyota workshop. They say injector 4 is leaking. Recomended to replace all four. The cost is what the car is worth so that is not an  option. Toyota mechanic said that if the banjos for fuelreturn is loosend it is a major leak at cyl nr four. Is this how you normally do? Anyway it really messed up the engine.

Hooked up four barrels on the fuel return and the amount is more or less exactly the same from all cyl. But there is A LOT coming backwards in the return pipe. Is this normal or is there a problem with the pressure regulator? Or somewhere else.

The fuelfilter is replaced.

Greatful for some feedback!

Regards Torsten

Hi Again.

Did some more tests with the scanner connected. The unit is kPA.

Rail pressure idle 31000

If I rev the engine slowly I need higher rpm before the error occurs. But is it possible to have this high pressure?

More than 145000 kPA,the dip just after the peak is when the the error occurs.

If I rev the engine more rapidly the error occurs on much lower rpm. The same dip though.

Hi again.

I think I mixed up the pressure units. 31000kPa isn't that  much?

What will a correct pressure be?

And how much will it change with increasing rpm?

The car runs great if I never rev over 2500rpm and it passed mot three months  and 5000 km ago.
