Interior Black Surfaces - Discoloration

Hi my name is Aaron and I am new to the club. I recently purchased a 2024 BZ4X and I am really enjoying the vehicle. There are several minor gripes with the vehicle; however, the most frustrating is the piano black plastic of the interior. Specifically, smudging with repeated or prolonged contact. The stains do not come out and appear to be etched into the painted surface. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

I was looking into a similar problem I have with the black plastic on the outside of the driver's door which looks slightly faded with what looks like fingerprints all over.

It was suggested it could be skin cells/hand cream/sun tan lotion/similar and to use rubbing alcohol or a make-up remover to clean then use a silicone polish to protect.

Haven't tried it yet as it's been raining two days now.... but will let you know if it works.
