Yaris Excel Auto Folding Mirrors

Hi I' m wondering if someone can help me regarding my folding mirrors.

Yesterday for whatever reason my side mirrors stopped folding in when I locked up the car. The windows still fold in and out manually with the button inside, but when its set to A it has stopped doing it when locking now.

Is there some funky combination of buttons etc I have pressed to stop this function at all?

close the mirrors manually and make sure the knob is in the mid position get out of the car and lock it twice

When you say manually - do you mean while inside the car with the electrics on - not physically?

yes, press the fold button, it may help to open and close them a few times, to get them into sync

Sadly this doesn't seem to solve the problem, I may have to take it down the local Toyota autos to see what the issue is. Thanks for the suggestion 🙂

Pop the mirror/window controls up and unplug the mirror switch, cycle the ignition, then plug it back in
