... and I'm downloading it now.

Note that this is the version for the older Touch 2 & Go systems rather than Smart Connect ...

Assume that this is chargeable now?

It is free if you have a valid MapCare subscription; it is chargeable if you don't. You'd have to look and see, and then decide what you want to do ...

... and, once again, they appear to have go the file structure 'wrong'! 😉

So, with an empty FAT32 formatted USB drive, create a top-level folder named "FMU" and extract the contents of the downloaded zip file into FMU.

I tend to extract the file from the zip archive to a folder on my PC and copy the content to the USB from there. 👍

Unfortunately, no 3yr package available... at the moment.

Why do you need a degree in computing software to update the sat nav? Big fail by Toyota as far as I am concerned.

And all installed / updated correctly ... 🙂

Brilliant information thanks. Didn’t have the top level folder and wouldn’t install. Toyota uk multimedia team not taking phone calls, email enquiries taking 21 days to respond. Customer care put me through to service centre who wanted to charge around £250 for the update. Created top level folder, moved files to it and update works. Thank you, thank you, thank you,

If you use the same USB in 6 months for the next update reformat the drive rather than just delete the old data. I’ve found that leaving the deleted files on the drive can confuse the loading/installation process.
