Bringing my RHD toyota Yaris into Europe; requirements

Hi there, 

I have inherited a 2008 toyota rhd yaris and want to permanently bring it into belgium. Does anyone know if I have to change the headlights completely for driving on the right and to pass the MOT test with this model of toyota?

So far I have had them 'regulated' and it didn't pass the test...(at the MOT they told me to return to the garage and try again whilst also telling me that it failed due to dirty headlights...)

In garages and at the MOT centre I can't seem to get a clear response.

That's a bit tricky to say since I don't know what the belgian MOT-equivalent rules are, but given they did sell the Mk2 Yaris over there it's probably easiest to get some used ones and slot them in - To the LHD and RHD lamp pods are interchangeabe
