2000 model yaris.  The radio display has gone completely blank.

Is there a fuse which could cause this, if so which one?

Hi Robert, The fuse box in the 2000 Yaris I think is usually located either under the dashboard driver's side, near the pedals or In the engine compartment next to the Battery.

Look at the diagram on the inside of the fuse box cover or if you have  the owner's manual to identify the fuse for the radio. It is usually labeled as Radio, Audio, or ACC Accessory.

It’s likely a 15A fuse, but this can vary.👍

Thanks.  The radio works, you just can see the volume and station.

It could be loose connection at the back of the radio but it sounds like a component in the radio has gone. You could try disconnecting the Battery for a few minutes to reset the radio this sometimes works. I would do this if a reset on the radio is not available. 👍

there is no fuse for it, use a torch and see if you can see the display if so the bulb(s) has gone

the bulb is not easy to change as you have to take the display out of the car and remove the lid

here is the service manual for the display, I knew I had it somewhere
