Shot clock spring? binding when turning the sterring wheel

rav4 2008, recently i started to notice something like a click, binding, i don't know how else to explain it, it's not audible but you can feel it in the steering wheel, it only happens at very low speed or when i'm still, so i doubt it's the cv axle, no vibration or any other symptoms when driving.

just this clicking when turning from left to right and vice versa, no noise or anything from outside. it sort of feels like when your motorcycle steering bearing is shot, you fell something like a "bump" when turning the wheel. (the controls, horn, and cruise control work, i've heard that when the clock spring is bad those can stop working)

what could it be? i'm hoping it's the clock spring as it looks very easy to replace

there are 2 universal joints in the steering shaft these dry out or just wear with age. bearings in the column go dry or wear

any "easy fix" like re-greasing them? any issues if i keep driving like this? other than potentially making the problem worse.

just inspect them, they only need a smear of grease

no luck issue persists 😞 what else could it be?
