I have a 2007 aygo semi-auto that brings this fault every time I select reverse.

P0812 - reverse input circuit

i have swapped out the reverse switch on the gearbox and the bulbs in the rear lights (all of them)

I have several of these cars so I’ve also tested the shifter from another car and changed the stroke sensor.

The small piece of wire between the actuators switches has continuity on every wire and I get a current to the reverse light - but the reverse light does not come on.

Any help with what else to check or change would be much appreciated, as mentioned I have several of these cars so can swap and change parts as required if any suggestions.

Do the reverse lights work? have you checked the 10a back-up fuse? (on side of speedo)
