Hi, I've just purchased a Toyota Aygo 1.0 VVT-i x-play Euro 5 5dr Euro 2014. At present, the car has the red pop air vent surrounds around both air vents and a silver gearstick.

I want to replace the air vent surround on the left hand side with the Dashboard Red Pop 3P0 Passenger Side RHD part 554750H080D0 / 134 (see attached photo) and the gearstick with the

Genuine Toyota Aygo Shift Knob - Manual

PW466-0H001-DC

(See 2nd attached photo). Am I correct in thinking these are both the right parts and that I have a MK2 model?

Also, if I buy the gear knob from a UK supplier it's £117 whereas from Top Deals it's €37.00 - a big difference. I assume this a a European country, from what I can tell the part is the same with the same part number - will it be ok?

Thanks for advice, I assume you're just referring to the Top Deals website that's advertising the gear knob at €37.

The website advertising it at £117 is a UK site (car accessories plus) is that one ok? Alternatively there are 2 or 3 official Toyota Aygo gear knobs for sale from UK sellers on eBay who all have high positive feedback ratings.

The red pop dashboard panel is being sold by a UK company called Toyota Parts Direct (https://toyotadirectparts.co.uk/parts/toyota-aygo/toyota-aygo-mk-2/aygo-mk-2-accessories/toyota-aygo-2014-present-dashboard-red-pop-3p0-passenger-side-rhd/) is this site ok? And am I right in thinking RHD refers to right hand drive vehicles (for the 2014 Toyota Aygo there isn't space for this panel on the right side only the left, so just want to ensure RHD means it's a panel to put on the left side of a right hand drive car)!

Sorry, I'm not a car expert just wanting to add more official red parts to the interior of my car!

Yes RHD - Right Hand Drive.

Toyota Direct Parts is the online store of a Toyota dealer, Fish Bros.

Thank you - and do you think this eBay seller is ok (Burrows Car Parts) for the gear stick knob (not chancing the €37 one as like the above commenter notes - too good to be true).

Like the flash22 said, the 37 website is a scam website hiding who they are by using the privacy services available in Reykjavik. A good way of avoiding getting scammed (but not a guarantee) is to try to buy from .co.uk sites. Way safer.

If you're budget minded, and have time, you could try a wrecker/breaker to see if they ahve any parts from the model you're looking to buy. You can get them 30-50% cheaper than retail.

Hi Andrea and welcome to the board.

I have bought a few things from Burrows and they are very good to deal with, great prices and quick delivery too.  They also throw in a Toyota supermarket trolley token (like a £1.00 coin) on a little key ring with every order......Well at least they used to, I've got about three of them!

Anyway, good luck with all that you're doing to your Aygo, I'm sure that you'll get there!

All the best.

P.S. This is a link to their site:-

Or you can just buy from their eBay store....I hope that helps!

Unfortunately, Burrows have just been sold to Vertu so their cs is likely to suffer over time ...

Yes thanks - super helpful to hear from someone who has bought from them before and happy with service!

As long as the parts they sell under the Burrows name in their eBay store are genuine and they don't take months to despatch, I'm not really bothered about ongoing or long term customer service as after buying the pop red dashboard panel I want and the red gearstick knob, I won't be buying anything else. Any future parts the car may need due to mechanical fault, wear and tear or any damage caused by scratches or in the event of a crash of any description, I'd always use a garage as I'm in no way mechanically minded or body work - merely looking for 2 parts I saw other Aytos had that the lower mileage and white X feature I bought doesn't have - for aesthetics only.

Thank you, my car already has the red pop gear/cup holder surround, so I'm all good for that. Thanks for the instructions 👍
