With a fresh Toyota Yaris AC 1.5 Dual VVT-i Y20 Edition 5ov Multidrive (model year 2019), I ask a question for those of you who know.

How does this Toyota-marketed Connected service work, and what does it offer?

As an additional question, have you had any difficulties registering for the MyToyota app service? I myself can't do that when the server stubbornly answers: VIN can't be found...

What is this MytToyota that MyToyota always offers after failure? Isn't it already terminating the app, or have I misunderstood?
My Toyota Yaris is registered on the MyToyota website correctly, but I can't get it on my phone?

afaik there are 2 apps currently, MyT for older cars like my current Avensis & MyToyota for newer (2021? & later) cars with Smart Connect.
