Hi everyone,

My toyota aygo (2010) has a start issue since last weekend. The Battery was totally dead first (remote doesn’t work anymore / not any lights that light up), so I replaced the Battery today for a new one. But despite a totally new accu (12,3v) the auto don’t start…

the car tries to start but it feels like it didn’t succeed. You hear something spin but it feels like it didn’t get enough power. Can it be the start engine?

12.3v still consider low for a new Battery.

Generally speaking, you want to buy car Battery from places that sells Battery fast.  This is because soon as the batteries were made, their life expectancy is reducing by the day.

Anyway, since you can measure the voltage, check that the voltage does not drop below 10.6v during crank.  If the voltage were below 10.6, it means the battery were too weak.

Ideally, you should have a battery tester. E.g:

Do a check the start motor as it seems to be a problem with it.

I would start with the basics, spark, fuel & air, check them.
