Hi FOlks,

I purchased a newer model of Aygo for my mum, and I've upgraded it from the basic head unit to the 2 button head unit (with a screen). I have also purchased an OEM rear view camera from a wrecker. Usually there will be a YouTube video of somebody reparing whatever car model's rear view camera you're looking for information on, but I cannot find a video that shows the actual location of the Aygo's rear view camera. When I have looked for images of new Aygo's and the camera's location I've drawn a blank, so I am reaching out to my fellow Yota owners to ask if somebody might have a video or images of work they did to their rear bumper or reversing camer I'd be heaps grateful.

Thanks

Ben

It's bolted to the bumper just above the number plate

Edit. you may not have all the wiring, you may only have the plug behind the radio that terminates in the  footwell and don't have anything to the back of the car

OK FLash 22,

Thank you for that. I am going to post a second question about the wiring, any help you can give with that would be greatly appreciated.

On our early Mk2, the wiring was at both ends, behind the touchscreen and also behind the rear bumper tied up, so it worth checking. As flash says think someone else fitted OEM camera and the fixing bracket was moulded into bumper and hole for camera was marked on the bumper. I fitted an aftermarket number plate reverse camera to ours using 'car solutions' adapter cos I didn't want muller rear bumper and 2nd hand OEM cameras were bit pricey back then, way I did it all in was half cost of 2nd hand OEM scrappy cameras, plus camera I got had 'the guide lines' on it where as think early OEM cameras did not.
