Metal clicking noise from wheel

Hi new to the forum.

I have a 2012 d4-d avensis. When driving I hear Intermittent metal clicking noise coming from drivers side. At first thought was loose heat shield but I've checked that and it's fine. It comes and goes the noise like going up hill or if needing to change to lower gear. I was thinking it could be the metal shields at the brakes. Just looking for anyone who experienced this and has any opinions.

CV joints checked all fine as was first though but it is like tin metal getting against itself. Driving me nuts 😂
