Aygo MK2 Replacement Tail lights

Hi All,

I would just like to have some information regarding swapping my current Models (2014 Aygo Excite pre face lift) for the Newer face lift rear Tail Lights, as these look way better and seem easy to hot swap.

After stumbling across this video which looks to be quite easy fit - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5bumWslbDo&t=1s  

This video however shows that the Indicators go into Hyper flashing which I obviously don't want - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sr2X6bmy92M

I am aware that fitting resistors will help with this issue but I don't really want to do that as they get hot....

Does anyone know if there's a better solution?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

seen that video a few times before, the op had changed the indicator bulb to an LED bulb, if you use a good quality can-ready LED or standard bulb you don't have the flashing issue
