Rear courtesy light( lack of one)

As a new member i realise this topic will have been covered anyway thought I would have a moan  Dark nights family stayed over with two small grandchildren  both needed child seats  

Easy peasy through the day then I discovered after having car 2 months there’s no rear courtesy light  I know Japan is the land of the rising sun but surely it goes down at some point? Arrrrrgh 😳

24 MY Yaris Cross has led rear courtesy light fitted - unless you have the panoramic roof option.

There is no leg room at all  in most modern small Toyota cars on the rear let alone a courtesy lights 😂👌 and how much the rear doors open , I can tell that every new small Toyota easily be classed as a coupe sport car, without sport performance 🚙
