Nearside rear side light problem - Any help ?

Hi,

Got a MOT in a few days so was having a quick check round and saw the nearside rear side light out so went to change the bulb but no joy (still dead) and on removing the connector to check for any corrosion I could see there was only 5 pins on the bulb holder section but 6 wires on the incoming connector, so I checked the drivers side that has 5 pins and 5 wires on the connector so can anyone please tell me if the nearside bulb holder should have 5 or 6 pins.

Cannot find any detailed diagram of the rear light cluster bulb holder online, and I don't have any testing equipment, so have no idea if I need to replace just the bulb holder or if I have bigger problems but knowing if there should be 5 or 6 pins would be a very helpful start.

This rear cluster has had issues from time to time, so I am thinking the pin could have always been duff and finally come off completely.

I would very much appreciate conformation one way or the other before I go mad searching for what the problem is - Just what I need 3 days before an MOT

Appreciate any help re confirmation on the pins.

Kind regards

Shane.

P.S - It's a 2008 LHD Yaris 1.4 D4D
